OWO Festival 2023
Head of Media Engagement
Secured widespread local coverage, established media partnerships and strategically produced storytelling content across multiple formats for Obroni Wawu October 2023 (Africa’s first urban thrift festival).
Radio & Podcasts
As media lead for the event organiser, my storytelling objective was to connect community with culture by giving young creatives wider exposure and evoking a sense of nostalgia among broader TV, radio, print and digital audiences.
This allowed people to understand the festival's focus on celebrating Kantamanto’s significance in Ghana and the global fashion industry; successfully positioning it as a go-to cultural event that year.
