In May 2023, Yvette Tetteh became the first known person to swim 450km along Ghana’s Volta River.

Throughout the expedition, I actively mobilsed local and international journalists (including the BBC, Guardian, DW, National Geographic, AJ+, Semafor Africa); organised press briefings and coordinated field productions.

Together we produced impactful stories that highlighted and amplified this historic event, making it one of the biggest headlines from Ghana to gain global attention that year.
